Dry Eye Workshop: What to Expect

Dry, irritated or watery eyes?

You’re not alone — and you don’t have to just put up with it.

Our Dry Eye Workshop is a calm, friendly, small-group session designed to help you understand why your eyes feel uncomfortable — and what actually helps.

👁️ The problem (most people recognise this)

  • Dry, gritty or sore eyes

  • Watery eyes that feel tired

  • Discomfort with screens

  • Make-up irritation

  • Symptoms worse in winter

Dry eye is common, ongoing, and often misunderstood.

The plan (what we’ll cover)

In a relaxed, no-pressure setting, we explain dry eye simply:

  • What dry eye really is (and why it doesn’t just go away)

  • Why tears can be poor quality — not just “not enough”

  • The role of eyelids, glands and inflammation

  • How everyday habits (screens, heating, make-up) affect symptoms

No jargon. No hard sell.

Practical, hands-on advice

This isn’t just a talk — it’s about what to do at home:

  • How to clean your eyelids properly

  • Which products actually help (and which don’t)

  • Heat masks, sprays, drops — how and when to use them

  • Eye hygiene routines that fit real life

You’ll leave knowing what to do next.

Make-up & lashes.

Make-up should enhance your eyes — not irritate them.

  • How to choose eye-friendly make-up

  • Ingredients to avoid if you have dry eye

  • Why some mascaras and eyeliners make symptoms worse

  • Better make-up and lid hygiene for sensitive eyes

Lashes & dry eye

  • Lash thinning or loss can be linked to ongoing dry eye conditions

  • Many lash serums are too harsh

  • We’ll introduce a restorative eyelash serum designed with dry eye sufferers in mind

 Small group sessions

  • 4–5 people per group

  • Around 1.5 hours

  • Plenty of time for questions

  • Friendly, supportive atmosphere

Ideal if you don’t like rushed appointments.

Who is it for?

Perfect if:

  • You’ve tried drops but still feel uncomfortable

  • Your eyes feel watery and dry.

  • Screens make your eyes tired

  • You wear eye make-up and struggle with irritation.

  • You want clear, honest guidance.

The goal

To help you:

  • Understand your dry eye

  • Feel more comfortable day-to-day

  • Know what works for you

  • Manage symptoms with confidence, long-term
